AVID Scholarship 2010-2011
The mission of AVID Region VIII is to provide access for AVID students to four-year colleges and universities. In order to support our students in this endeavor, Region VIII has established a scholarship, minimum of $1000, which will be awarded to two senior candidates from each of the four Region VIII counties (Kern, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura). The candidate pool will consist of students who have been in AVID for the last two consecutive years and who will attend a four-year college or university.
